The Zombie Law
Zombie movies always (or, say, often) take place in an alternate reality where zombie movies don't exist.

Corollary: since we have zombie movies, we're not in a zombie movie ?

How do you know there are no zombie films in, say, 'Dawn of the Dead'?

Because they don't seem to know that you must shot the head or that zombie-bites are the method of propagation ;)

Hmmm... interesting idea. I will consider itand try to find the flaw.

(It should have a flaw! :P)

It is a non-sequitur: the conclusion doesn't follow from the premise 8which is 100% right).

Sorry, that was me. Besides, how comes that in zombie movies they have the concept of zombie (they call them that, not 'living dead' or something else)?

interesting note ;)

but it's not always the case... i think that Romero's movies (or at least the first ones) don't mention "zombies" explicitely

What about the others? Hmmm, maybe your premise is not as good as I thought. ;)

What do you think? About the movie, not the coincidence. :)

Not baaaad. It avoids some clichés but still falls in other obvious ones. But that certainly was entertaining :)

I know some people regretted that the iron man wasn't used at its full potential, because there were like... 2,5 fight scenes. But since the over-abundance of fighting scenes tends to bore me (even if they're oh-so-impressive, like in the matrix), that was fine for me ;)

Yes: we can have plenty of those in the sequel. I just hope they will present War Machine!

Sorry, but I know of at least one zombie movie in which zombie movies exist:

the return of the evil dead!

perhaps they already know about zombie movies in Shawn of the Dead too, but i can't recall for sure.

I thought of Shawn of the Dead too (although I haven't seen it yet), but it doesn't count, it's a parody :p

yeh, ok. how about return of the living dead then? it's rather comical, but not a parody.
